The Palma Congress Center has kicked off the year 2024 with a total of 11 confirmed congresses to date, 6 of which are of an international nature. This further solidifies the city's position as a growing benchmark in the Meetings, Congresses, and Conventions segment.
Some of the standout events set to define this year are the European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO) in April, which is the first international medical congress to be held at the venue since its opening, and the symposium organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) in May, a highly relevant gathering expected to draw experts and professionals from the European space industry.
In the preceding year, the Palma Congress Center hosted a total of 11 congresses, with participant numbers exceeding 10,000. This remarkable level of activity has played a significant role in positioning Palma as the sixth Spanish city with the highest volume of congress participants, trailing behind Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Seville, and Malaga.
Listed below are the confirmed congresses for the current year:
Kicking off on Friday, October 30, the 13th EMIFF will begin with an opening gala at Palma's Teatre Principal.
The Association of Industrialists of Mallorca (ASIMA) marked its 60th Anniversary with a special gala held at the Palma Congress Center. This event celebrated ASIMA's long-standing commitment to the economic and business growth of Mallorca.
Palma recently hosted the 17th Congress of the National Association of Nursing Coordinators in Material Resources (ANECORM) from October 2nd to 4th.
