The most important international film industry event in Mallorca returns this year from October 18 to 24 to celebrate its 12th edition.
The MIFF has established itself as one of the fastest growing film festivals in Europe, having received numerous awards throughout its history, such as that of the specialized magazine MovieMaker, which ranks it as one of the "20 essential international film festivals" around the world.
Since its first edition in 2012, the festival has screened more than 1,100 films from 42 nationalities, including 550 premieres, with more than 20,000 live attendees, as well as more than 300 panels. In addition, year after year it has been hosting international actors and first-class filmmakers, such as Ana de Armas, Nastasskja Kinski, Ruben Östlund, Ed Lachman, Laia Costa, Pilou Asbæk, Win Wders, Danny DeVito, Ángela Molina or Marisa Paredes.
