The General Manager of the Palma Congress Center receives the “Award of Excellence” at the Spain DMC’s awards
Ramón Vidal Castro, general manager of the Palma Congress Center, received the “Awards of Excellence” from the Spanish Association of DMCs, which presented its biennial awards at the last IBTM World.
The winners ex aequo of the “Award of Excellence” category were David Noack Pérez, director of the Madrid Convention Bureau (MCB), and Ramón Vidal, who was recognized "for his outstanding professional life, his commitment to MICE Tourism and his excellent relationship with the DMCs".
On the other hand, the IBTM fair - one of the main international thermometers for the MICE segment - concluded with good prospects for business tourism in Palma.
The Congress Center was present at the stand of Mallorca, which promoted the island's MICE product. "We have noticed a lot of interest and Palma is definitely considered a must-visit destination for business tourism " said Ramón Vidal, general manager of the Congress Center.
