The Palma Congress Center hosted the #EduDigIB international conference on November 5: digital education and STEAM in the Balearic Islands, organized by the Department of Education of the Balearic Government.
Some 500 participants, including 400 teachers from the Islands, gathered at this conference with world leaders in technology and Steam to discuss on the latest digital trends in education, with a special focus on students and their acquisition of digital skills.
The event also served to promote the exchange of experiences and projects carried out in education, with the help of technology, to meet the demands of a society that is increasingly connected and in the process of transformation.
The TaPalma Mallorca 2024 competition, one of the most notable gastronomic events of the year, took place at the Palma Congress Center for seveth time. The event attracted over a thousand attendees and was distinguished by the high quality of the creations presented.
The MCE South Europe 2024, an event specializing in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector aimed at facilitating connections between suppliers and global companies, was held in Mallorca from November 10 to 12.
The Palma Conference Centre hosted the 30th anniversary celebration of Sonrisa Médica, the first hospital clown organisation in Spain. Approximately 900 people attended the event to reflect on the impact of this initiative on children's hospitals across the country.
