On March 1, the Day of the Balearic Islands is celebrated, which commemorates the date on which the 1983 statute of autonomy came into force, which also celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
This year there are 267 activities pllaned, of which 160 will take place in Palma, including cultural, sporting, gastronomic and children's events.
In addition, in the artisan market of the Balearic Islands (Carrer Antoni Maura, Passeig de Sagrera, Plaça de la Drassana and Ronda Migjorn in Palma) you can find a sample of local food, artisan and traditional products representative of the islands.
