The Mayor of Palma, Jaime Martínez Llabrés, and the Minister of Tourism of the Balearic Government, Jaume Bauza Mayol, have chaired the General Shareholders Meeting of the Palma Congress Center, in which María Luisa Hernández Rilova has been appointted the new Board of Directors' president.
The Councilor for Tourism and Innovation, Javier Bonet, the Councilor for Social Services and Education, Lourdes Roca, the Councilor for Hisenda and Public Funció, Mercedes Celeste, and the general coordinator of the area of Tourism and Restoration, Victoria Mulet and the Secretary of Tourism, Tomeu Alcover, have also attended the Meeting.
Hernández Rivola has 23 years of experience in the development of CSR projects, sustainability, and Tourism strategic developlment. She was the coordinator of the Corporate Social Responsibility area of the AETIB (Tourism Strategy Agency of the Balearic Islands).
Jaime Martínez said: "I am proud to affirm our government's commitment to the diversification of tourism. We believe that by embracing the development of congress tourism, we are taking a significant step towards enhancing the overall quality of our tourism offerings”.
