The Felipe Moreno University School of Tourism held last Friday, July 1, the closing ceremony of the 2021-2022 academic year at the Pati d'Homes de la Misericòrdia, in Palma.
After two years of pandemic, it has been possible to resume the traditional awards ceremony in recognition of the most outstanding companies for their contribution to excellence in the tourism sector, as well as the work of outstanding teachers and students.
Thus, on this occasion, the Felipe Moreno School awarded the 2022 "Escudo de Oro" to the Palma Congress Centre, in recognition of the important work it performs in promoting the tourist destination and its contribution to promoting the deseasonalization in Mallorca, key to positioning itself as a top-level tourist destination. The general manager of the complex, Ramón Vidal Castro, collected the award.
More than 300 people, including institutional, academic, business representatives and students from the school participated in the closing ceremony, chaired in this edition by Andreu Serra, minister of Transition, Tourism and Sports of the” Consell Insular” in Mallorca.
