Mallorca continues to position itself as a preferred destination for MICE tourism and it hosted the last annual meeting of the Iberian chapter of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). Many professionals from the business tourism industry gathered on the island, where they had the opportunity to visit different venues, as well as some of the most emblematic places in Mallorca, all accompanied by numerous workshops and meetings, which were also held at the Palau de Congressos de Palma.
Thanks to the intense program of activities, the participants were able to see first-hand the island's excellent facilities to meet the needs of the MICE segment and the high level of specialization of all the MICE professionals, in addition to other factors that make the island a destination more attractive for business tourism, such as its complementary offer or its flight connections.
This event also responds to the large promotion effort being made by the main actors - public and private - on the island to continue increasing the recognition of Mallorca as a European MICE destination.
