Well-known sports personalities came together on 30th June, 2022, to discuss on healthy development of children and young people through sport.
Vicente del Bosque Football Academy hosted a roundtable discussion which brought together more than a thousand attendees. Three experts gathered to discuss the importance of Sports as a key tool for education: Vicente del Bosque, ex coach and Spanish soccer player, accompanied by the 27-time Paralympic swimming medalist, Teresa Perales; and Olympic canoe medalist Marcus Cooper Walz.
Vicente del Bosque is the only football coach who has won European and World championships both in national teams and football clubs. He currently shares his knowledge and experience in training values at the Vicente Del Bosque Football Academy.
Teresa Perales has become an example of self-improvement for millions of people with disabilities around the world and an icon of international Paralympic sport. As a result of all this, she was awarded the Princess of Asturias for Sports in 2021.
For his part, Marcus Cooper is one of the leading Mallorcan athletes today. In addition to his sporting achievements, which include two Olympic medals, in 2016 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Order of Sports Merit.
The president of the Balearic Government, Francina Armengol, was in charge of opening the act, highlighting the profile of the 3 speakers and their example inside and outside the competition.
The event culminated with the Vicente Del Bosque award, which was presented to the Mallorca Integra Foundation and collected by Aurora Sampol.
Vicente Del Bosque Football Academy has established itself as a concept of education and physical activity that promotes sports and values such as: friendship, integration and camaraderie. They have more than 15 years of experience in organizing sports training projects with a qualified and highly qualified team. And of course with the supervision of the former World and European Champion National Coach, Vicente Del Bosque.

The Palma Conference Centre hosted the 30th anniversary celebration of Sonrisa Médica, the first hospital clown organisation in Spain. Approximately 900 people attended the event to reflect on the impact of this initiative on children's hospitals across the country.
