Expo Zone 1

Description

The main area, Expo Zone 1, is on the ground floor and measures 1,640m². It has four different entrances from the street, allowing direct access for attendees without having to pass through any other part of the Palma Convention Centre. 11-metre high ceilings allow the exhibition of large materials as well as branding features and spectacular audiovisual productions.

The ceiling of the Expo Zone room is equipped with 39 rigging points, each of which can support a load of up to 500kg. The installation of roof attachments and project certification are the exclusive responsibility of the Convention Centre. The flooring can support loads up to 500kg per m², ideal for the exhibition of cars and heavy machinery. In addition to direct entry from the street, it also allows the entry of materials through goods lifts.

The ground floor of the Expo Zone at the Palma Palau de Congressos is the part of the building that is closest to the Meliá Palma Bay Hotel and has its own bathrooms and access for people with reduced mobility.
