TaPalma Mallorca 2024 showcases talent and innovation

The TaPalma Mallorca 2024 competition, one of the most notable gastronomic events of the year, took place at the Palma Congress Center for seveth time. The event attracted over a thousand attendees and was distinguished by the high quality of the creations presented. It successfully brought together the gastronomic community and the general public, aiming to highlight the talent and innovation within the city's restaurant sector.

The winner was the Morralla restaurant, led by chef Kike Erazo, who won the TaPalma de Oro 2024 with his creation "Coca - rroba".

The restaurant La Consentida, led by chef Óscar Fontán, received a silver award for its "Crispy stewed marrow cannelloni with garlic prawn cubes and truffle allioli", while the bronze award went to Ombu, under chef Carlos Frau, for its dish "Bruma mallorquina".

In the Tapa Sobrassada de Mallorca PGI category, Morralla won gold again with "La joia de Mallorca". The silver award was presented to Zaituna restaurant, led by chef David Raya, for their dish "The Black Pearl". The bronze award went to La Consentida for their creation "Sobrassada Bomb with Spinach and Seafood Cream".

During the cocktail competition, El Bandarra was awarded the Golden Cocktail for "Frambólico," a creation by bartender Michele Marcon. The Silver Cocktail was awarded to Ombu for "Toma-tiga," crafted by William Mensitieri. The Bronze Cocktail went to Assaona for "Sa Vall," created by Paula Blasco.
