Palma Congress Center launches healthy eating program to boost employee well-being

07-04-2025

Palma Congress Center has unveiled a new initiative aimed at enhancing employee well-being and promoting healthy lifestyle habits. This program focuses on healthy eating in the staff cafeteria, with the goal of creating a healthier and more mindful work environment.

The program seeks to raise awareness among employees about the benefits of following an anti-inflammatory diet. A balanced diet not only improves physical health but also emotional well-being and productivity. Additionally, proper nutrition can prevent diseases and improve quality of life. The initiative also encourages employees to adopt a "Zero Waste" policy, promoting practices that minimize food waste and encourage more conscious and responsible consumption.

The project includes various activities, such as two sessions led by Gemma Bes, a certified Nutrition and Dietetics expert and currently the nutritionist at the Rafa Nadal Academy. These sessions are designed to educate and motivate staff to adopt better eating practices.

Furthermore, the program involves the creation of menus that contain less animal protein and are free from refined flours, saturated fats, sweeteners, sugars, and processed foods. This approach aims to offer healthier and more nutritious options to employees.

The Palma Congress Center is confident that this new initiative will have a positive impact on the health and well-being of all its employees, contributing to the creation of a healthier and more sustainable work environment.
