The MCE South Europe 2024, an event specializing in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector aimed at facilitating connections between suppliers and global companies, was held in Mallorca from November 10 to 12. The meeting attracted over 230 professionals from more than a dozen countries to explore new business opportunities.
Organized by Europe Congress in collaboration with the Mallorca Convention Bureau, the event highlighted Mallorca's exceptional quality and versatility in hosting international events. Over 30 personalized meetings took place at the Palau de Congressos facilities, fostering a dynamic and professional atmosphere that enabled valuable connections and opened new avenues for collaboration.
Participants enjoyed unique experiences on the island, including a networking dinner in Son Termes with traditional Ball de Bot, a gymkhana in Palma, a special dinner at the Son Moix stadium with dimonis, an excursion to Valldemossa and Serra de Tramuntana, and an Art & Wine Class at José L. Ferrer wineries where they painted fans inspired by Joan Miró while tasting local wines and cheeses. This event fostered professional growth and highlighted Mallorca's history, gastronomy, and hospitality.
The success of MCE South Europe 2024 was made possible by the support of key sponsors including the Palau de Congressos and Meliá Palma Bay, along with local companies such as AICO, Absolute, El Corte Inglés, LoMusic, Mallorca Activa, MBS, and Roig. The Consell de Mallorca/FTM and Fundació Turisme Palma 365 also played pivotal roles in supporting this event.
