The Palma Congress Center hosted the prestigious International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) Awards Gala, honoring the achievements of champions across various motorcycle sports disciplines for the 2024 season.
The gala, attended by approximately 1,000 guests, celebrated the victors of 62 FIM world titles in six motorcycling categories: Circuit Racing, Motocross, Trial, Enduro, Cross Country Rallies, and Track Racing. The event featured participants from all 121 National Federations, alongside motorcycling legends, promoters, FIM partners, and key members of the global motorcycling community.
This occasion served not only as a platform to commend this year's champions but also as an opportunity to mark the federation's 120th anniversary. The weekend's itinerary included numerous activities for fans, notably the 'Awards Village' and the 'FIM Hospitality' located adjacent to the Cathedral of Mallorca. Here, motorcycle enthusiasts had the chance to meet their idols and share their reflections on the season.
In addition to the gala, the Palma Congress Center also hosted the FIM General Assembly, the General Assembly of the Ibero-American Motorcycling Association, and the General Assembly of the Mediterranean Motorcycling Association. These annual meetings convened representatives from federations worldwide to outline the main strategic directions for motorcycling on a global scale for the upcoming year.
